ORB CARE Service Opportunities

ORB CARE, the service ministry of Outreach Red Bank, concentrates on serving those outside of ORB's immediate community, especially those who are poor and in need. We believe that we are all God's children, and that we are called to serve others as Christ served us.

Outreach Red Bank is a church in, um, Red Bank, NJ. If you are interested in learning more about ORB, go to www.theorb.org.

Deliver Communion
Take ORB's Sunday service to those who physically cannot make it to the building, whether because of sickness, old age, disabilities, etc. Sit in prayer, sing songs, talk about God's teachings, read Scriptures and take communion.

ESL Class
Teach English to Spanish-speaking Red Bank residents. Learning English will help people in employment, in everyday living, and in welcoming them to our community.

Meals for Neighbors
Make home-cooked meals to lighten the load for people in Red Bank who find themselves overwhelmed by their present state.

Volunteer for Local Soup Kitchen
Help prepare meals, organize cans, and serve food at Lunch Break.

Make Meal for Ronald McDonald House
The Ronald McDonald House of Long Branch provides a safe, comfortable, supportive haven "for the families of seriously ill children undergoing medical treatment at area hospitals. Prepare dinner at the facility for a family the first Tuesday of every month.
